Beneficiary Organizations
LI2DAY has raised over $4 MILLION DOLLARS for local grassroots organizations! More Long Islanders can receive the assistance they need so they can focus on getting healthy. This year alone, LI2DAY raised over $625,000 for the 2012 Beneficiary Organizations listed below:
- Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program
- Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition
- Brentwood Bay Shore Breast Cancer Coalition
- Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center Women's Health & Resource Center
- Cancer Services Program of Eastern Suffolk
- Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
- Cure Mommy's Breast Cancer
- Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Southampton Hospital
- Islip Breast Cancer Coalition
- Lucia's Angels
- Manhasset Women's Coalition Against Breast Cancer
- North Shore Neighbors Breast Cancer Coalition
- South Nassau Communities Hospital
- West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition for Long Island Inc.
Special Grants were given to:
- Sisters of Greater Long Island
- Cancer Services West
- Friends for Life Foundation
- Strength for Life
LI2DAY Scholarship Division:
LI2DAY understands that fighting breast cancer can be a strain financially therefore a Scholarship Program was instituted in 2005. Each year LI2DAY earmarks $15,000 for the LI2Day Scholarship Fund. Scholarships in the amount of $2,500 are awarded to 6 local High School Seniors whose parent or guardian has been affected by breast cancer. To date, LI2DAY has awarded $120,000!

LI2DAY Special Grant Program:
If your organization would like to be considered for a grant from the Long Island 2 Day Walk To Fight Breast Cancer please email us at: info@li2daywalk.org or call (631) 863-2DAY. In keeping with our mission statement, careful consideration will be given to all applicants. However, consistent with our corporate charter and by-laws, inclusion as a beneficiary of the Walk is solely at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Our 2012 Beneficiary Representatives - on August 10th, 2012 at the Appreciation Luncheon at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Smithtown, NY the LI2DAY Organization granted $625,000 to our beneficiaries bringing our total to over $4 Million in 9 years!
