Syosset High School Supports
LI2DAY by raising over $4,000
On October 17, 2011 Syosset HIgh School had its annual one mile walk-a-thon to kick off spirit week. This year SHS chose to support the Long Island 2 Day organization and raise money for them. The Peer Helper classes and Community Health class, led by Ms Stacey Levine-Kerley a breast cancer survivor and 5 year LI2Day walker, educated the whole school about the services the LI2DAY organization provides. In total Syosset High School raised over 4,000.00.

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory gets a $7,000 gift from
Andreas Niens, CEO of Kinematica, Inc. on behalf of LI2DAY
Andreas Niens, CEO of Kinematica, Inc. has generously donated a POLYTRON homogenizer system to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's Dr. Mikala Egeblad. This equipment will assist Dr. Mikala and her group in her breast cancer gene research. Mr. Niens' gift was on behalf of the LI2DAY organization as CSHL is one of our long time beneficiary organizations.

Challenge raised over $4,000!
A huge thank you to our friends at Gold's Gym for running a fantastic event. Their effort and dedication to LI2DAY raised over $4,000.
And a big thank you to all of you who participated! We couldn't have done it without your commitment and sweat!
The Runner's Edge Apparel Promotion Raised $1,500 for LI2DAY!
Thanks to Bob Cook and Runner's Edge for putting together an apparel promotion that would benefit LI2DAY. Special thanks to all our LI2DAY friends who purchased items.
Northrop Grumman Corp. Employees
Raised $5,000 for LI2DAY!
NGC employees raised awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer here on Long Island. A yearly golf outing is held that is 100% sponsored by the employees. LI2DAY was chosen as on of the beneficiary organizations of the proceeds raised from the October 28th Golf Outing. NGC employees, Lisa Antonelli and Ed Graziano chaired the event.
In addition to teeing-off, employees participated in themed days/weeks such as Jeans Week, Pink Velvet Cupcake Day, Italian Ice Day, and Popcorn Day. NGC's Vicki Payne and ESPO Entertainment helped make those events successful. A special thanks to NGC's Pat McMahon, Sector Vice President and General Manager, and Linda Krumenacker, as well as all the employees who supported these events and so kindly chose LI2DAY as a beneficiary organization.
St. Joseph's College's Sisters of
Lambda Psi Iota adopt LI2DAY
Sisters of Lambda Psi Iota hosted "Mr. SJC" on November 29th, 2011 at St Joseph's College, Patchogue Campus. LI2DAY has been adopted as Lambda Psi Iota's charity for the 2011-12 school year. The sorority raised over $600 for this event!
