ABOUT BONNIE LEVINE

Bonnie Levine passed away at the young age of 36 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.  She is survived by her husband, two sons, Andrew and Sean Levine, and countless family and friends.  Over the years her family has participated in breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiatives.  Join Bonnie’s Buddies 9th year raising funds to fight breast cancer on Long Island. ABOUT THE RAPHAELSON & LEVINE HOPE RUNS HERE 5K IN MEMORY OF BONNIE LEVINE This run/walk is a competitive race with an uplifting atmosphere which draws participants from the tri-state area. The event starts and finishes at the Theodore Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay, New York. You will enjoy a scenic course and post-race party and beverages, high quality technical shirts, and great award medals.

ENTRY FEES $25 Pre-Registration Fee  *Online Registration closes at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020* $30 Day-of-Race – 6:45 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.

*You can register in person at packet  pick up for $25 or day of race for $30. See below:

THE COURSE: This event is USA Track & Field certified and is part of the Long Island Running Series and the USATF GrandPrix Series.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT RACE ANNOUNCER – Terry Bisogno, “the Voice of Long Island running and racing” will bring you across the finish line.

TIMING & SCORING Brendan Barrett  and the  SRC Timing/Just Finish Systems team will provide computerized timing & scoring using the RFID Timing System with disposable chip attached to your bib number. Results will be online at JustFinish.Net within 24 hours after the run.

NEW Walk for 2020!

LI2DAY is excited about the changes for the Walk in 2020! In an effort to make the Walk more accessible to everyone on Long Island, we relocated the walk to Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, New York. We’ve added some new features to the walk this year and made improvements that will make participating in this event memorable.
