JOIN US FOR THE SUNDAY, MAY 17TH FOR THE VIRTUAL NO ORDINARY WALK IN THE PARK IN LOVING MEMORY OF BONNIE LEVINE

This years’ event is really turning into “A No Ordinary Walk in the Park” with the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID19).  In an effort to safeguard our participants we have changed our event to a virtual walk.

To participate in our virtual walk here’s what you’ll need to do:

$25 registration fee (goes towards your fundraising commitment)

$250 fundraising commitment.  You have until July 25th to reach your minimum fundraising goal of $250.

Take a walk on Sunday, May 17th.

Walk any distance of your choice to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer. You can do this around your neighborhood and/or in your favorite park (adhering to the social distancing guidelines and any new direction from the CDC and Municipalities).  You can go LIVE on Facebook, post to Instagram or social media platforms to capture your personal walk…and share with those who are donating to you.

Cancer Survivor Celebration

  • We are extremely disappointed that we will not be unable to honor our survivors like we would at our actual event this year.  But you can still be part of our virtual walk!
  • You can also take a walk on May 17th and post your survivor story to our Facebook page or go LIVE on Facebook! We would love to see you sharing you “Life’s Victory” on our Facebook page and hopefully inspire others.
  • OR, Survivors can re-register for $25 and participate as a virtual walk.  Just click on the link for virtual walker registration.

If you have a question please email us at info@li2daywalk.org or call (631) 863-2329.

  • IN LOVING MEMORY OF BONNIE LEVINEWe are also combining one of our largest fundraising teams from our annual Hope Runs Here 5K in Loving Memory of Bonnie Levine with our virtual walk this year.  In September, LI2DAY would have celebrated with the Levine family with the 10th Anniversary run.  So, in honor of Bonnie and to commemorate this milestone we have dedicated our walk to Bonnie Levine.
  • ABOUT BONNIE LEVINEBonnie Levine passed away at the young age of 36 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.  She is survived by her husband, two sons, Andrew and Sean Levine, and countless family and friends.  Over the years her family has participated in breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiatives. This year would have been  the Hope Runs Here 5K In Loving Memory of Bonnie Levine’s 10th Anniversary.  Join Bonnie’s Buddies 10th year raising funds to fight breast cancer on Long Island.
